Music has always been a way of life for Cindy Stearns. As a licensed Minnesota music teacher with 25 years of experience, she has spent over two decades helping students find their own musical voices—whether they are strumming their first chords on a guitar or ukulele, or figuring out their very first notes in beginning band. When she is not in the classroom, Cindy brings that same heart to the community, playing trumpet, flute, and bagpipes to add a personal, meaningful touch to church services, weddings, and funerals. She also loves keeping traditional music alive, by performing as a solo bagpiper and as a proud member of both the Minnesota Firefighter Pipes and Drums and the MacAlester Bagpipe Band. From teaching beginner bagpipe lessons to sharing her love for music at local events, Cindy just loves helping people connect through music.
With over 30 years of piping experience, Mark Ryan brings high quality bagpipe music, expert instruction, and technical mastery to audiences and students alike. Mark’s career includes performing with multiple local MN pipe bands and competing with the Grade 3 MacAlester College Pipe Band. He competed at the European Championship Games in Perth, Scotland and also at the World Championship Competition held in Glasgow, Scotland in 2024.
As a dedicated educator, Mark teaches aspiring pipers to seamlessly transition from the practice chanter to the full instrument. Beyond performance and teaching, he has technical expertise and knowledge in bagpipe setup, tuning, and maintenance—ensuring every instrument achieves a flawless, stable tone. Whether you are looking to hire a seasoned performer for an event, book a private lesson, or get your pipes perfectly set up, Mark delivers unmatched professionalism and passion for the craft.
